Lifestyle photography captures your kids' childhood, so they can pass down memories to their children. I gently guide you through your session, but allow you and your family to interact and snuggle as you feel like it. This unposed style is designed to immortalize the massive amounts of heart-exploding love you have for your family.
Each session fee includes up to one hour of camera time so kids can take time to get comfortable, relax and be themselves and we can capture those sweet personalities you love so much. Newborn sessions include a complimentary additional hour to accommodate feedings and the need for soothing. They also include travel within the lower mainland so that you can choose whatever location means the most to you, as well as access to my client closet and styling advice so you don't have to stress about finding outfits for everyone! I also offer the option to add professional hair and make-up if you prefer not to do it yourself!!

I love the natural and relaxed look of Kelly's photographs. The colouring is so beautiful and she captures a range of emotions in her photos. I was particularly attracted to her "in home" sessions and how comfortable everyone looked in the photos. Her website and email communication was super professional and I felt very informed from my first interaction with her brand. With photographers, I worry that it will feel awkward and not natural. I was also worried that our children might not be into the process and we would feel pressured to get them to cooperate in a very artificial way. Kelly has a very calm and collected way about her. Even thought it was our first time meeting her the day she arrived at our house for the session, I felt like she already knew us! Absolutely not! You can pick 8-30 images for your gallery, and then choose another 12 to 36 images per album, or different images for your custom frames or gallery wrap! I'll even add the digital you choose for your wall art into your gallery, on top of the digital images included in your package.
Do the images in my frames or canvases need to be the same as my digital files?
Yes I do! In fact, when you book your maternity and newborn session together, you'll receive two fine art torn edge 8x10s from each session to get you started on a gallery wall!
Do you have bundles if I want to book a maternity and a newborn session?
I absolutely do! In fact, more than just help! We'll have a pre-session consultation to pick out outfits and plan wardrobe for your session. I also provide a client closet of dresses Mom can pick from, as well as information on how to style the whole family. I'm always happy to help with outfit selection - think of it as shopping with a girl friend!
Do you offer help with styling for my session?
Yes I do! Traditional payments are 50% due at the time of booking (within a week) and 50% due 24 hours before your family, maternity or newborn session. But, if it's easier for you, I can split payments in three or four equal parts. Just let me know what you prefer, and we can make it work!

Babies are unpredictable, and I plan for that. My newborn sessions are two hours long, not because it takes that long to capture all the photos you'll want, but because I plan for you to take time to feed, change and comfort baby. If baby is fussy, I'm happy to take a break while you nurse or comfort him or her, and we'll star again once baby is settled and you're feeling comfortable!
What if my baby is fussy during our newborn session?
I offer prints, framed prints, gallery wrap canvases and albums in assorted sizes. These can all be purchased a la carte in addition to any package. If you wish to see a price list for a la carte items, let me know and I can send it over as well!
